Cover Reveal for Fish Out of Water and Happy Hump Day

Happy Hump Day

I do have some hump day funnies for you, but first...

Check out this cover for the latest Guppy anthology:
Fish Out of Water.

The Guppies, if you don't know, are an online chapter of Sisters in Crime. Fish out of Water is the fourth Guppy Anthology and, if the previous books are any indication, it's going to be packed with great stories.

Oh, did I mention that includes my own "Of Roosters and Men."

Fish Out of Water is scheduled for release in early April. I'll post more information as it becomes available.

Now for a hump day funny...

Three friends from the local congregation were asked, "When you're in your casket, and friends and congregation members are mourning over you, what would you like them to say?"

Artie said, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband, a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man."

Eugene said, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in people's lives."

Al said, "I'd like them to say, 'Look, he's moving!'"

Oh, that was so bad.
(I'm sorry.)

But here's something good.

Still Me..After All These Years is now available.
You can order the e-book or paperback at these sites.

If you'd like to be part of the blog tour for Still Me, sign up here.

Here's another funny...

Smith climbs to the top of Mt. Sinai to get close enough to talk to God.
Looking up, he asks the Lord. "God, what does a million years mean to you?"
The Lord replies, "A minute."
Smith asks, "And what does a million dollars mean to you?"
The Lord replies, "A penny."
Smith asks, "Can I have a penny?"
The Lord replies, "In a minute."

I can't help it. I liked that one.

Here's a quick head-scratcher for you.

While you ponder that, here's your "aw".

Just a little Mama love.

That's all for today. Do you like the cover? Laugh at the funnies? "Aw" at the...um,"aw"?

Have a great week.

Strange Thought for Today:

I planted some bird seed. A bird came up.
Now I don't know what to feed it.

  8. You've been both busy and fruitful, Linda. Both strong covers. I liked especially the 'last words' funny. The moving bit struck home. Why? I had just finished reading an article on how in quite a few cases the human mind shows brain activity an hour or so after the heart has stopped beating. What can I say? Don't creamate me too quickly 😬

AS far as the birds I can only say that this bird eats just about anything. Forget the seeds.
