Riddle Answers and Down for the Count

My apologies to my friends but I'm not able to put up a regular post this morning. I'm dealing with a pinched nerve and the cortisone shot and happy pills have only got me to the point where I can sit at my desk for a couple minutes at a time.

But I wouldn't make you wait on last Wednesday's riddle answers, so here they are.

1. What can you never eat for breakfast?  Lunch and/or dinner.

2. If you had three apples and four oranges in one hand and four apples and three oranges in other hand, what would you have?  Really big hands.

3. If it took eight men ten hours to build a wall, how long would it take four men to build it?  None, since it was already built by the eight guys.

Many of you got a couple of these and several of you got them all. I'll have to find some harder ones for this week.

I won't be able to visit many of you today but I'll try to catch up as soon as I'm able.

Tip for the Day:

I got one right. And the wine thing is funny.
Sorry about your pinched nerve.

Sorry to hear about your pinched nerve. It must be bad if cortisone and pain pills together are not doing the trick. I hope it becomes "unpinched" soon and you get back to your old self:)

You know, while I didn't get to test my riddle-me-this skills, I found these to be kinda funny.

And love the wine tip.

Hope your pinched nerve can settle and allow you proper time to do various things.

Pinched nerve??? Oh gosh, LD... that sounds terribly painful. :/

But look at you entertaining us even when you're in pain!

Oh, no! I sure hope that nerve un-pinches itself soon. Take care. :)

Love the tip of the day! You just take good care of yourself and get better. We'll all still be here.

I'm sorry you're still hurting.

Still think you should add a chiropractor to that pain cocktail. Can't hurt anymore than you do now.

Take care, hon.

Ack, that really sucks about your pinched nerve. I can't imagine how painful that must be! Will keep my fingers crossed that it heals up soon...

I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should help a wine bottle breath and maybe it will help with the pain or at least make being in pain more tolerable. Just a thought. Have a great day.

I'm sorry you are suffering at the moment, L.D. Get well soon, my friend. *waves*

Ouch! Salonpas works great. I've been nursing a sore back for weeks, actually years, but that is another story. I recently found the Salonpas and discovered it really does help with the pain.

Get well.....

Sorry to be late to this - holiday madness. I can but hope the worst of your pinched nerve is over. I appreciate the pain. I had shingles in my lower back some months ago. It's the worst kind of pain - so many sympathies.

On a lighter note, I liked the wine joke!
