Last Hump Day Post of 2013

Happy Hump Day

What was I thinking? I should have known I'd forget to do this post the week before Christmas. I'm always ridiculously behind this time of year.  But I won't leaving you to struggle over the mid-week hump without a few laughs to give you a boost, so here's goes...

This isn't the least bit Christmassy but it cracked me up.

Look at those faces. Ever felt like that? Come on now, fess up.

While Christmas shopping I ran across some great t-shirts. Here are a few of my favorites.

For the English majors/writers among us:

Prefer Math class to English?

I like this one.

Oh, you're not worried about dragons. How about cats?

Here's one we can all agree on.

How about a visit to our friends the church ladies and their wonderful bloopers.

The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.
This evening at 7 PM there will be a hymn sing in the park across from the Church. Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin.
Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.

I guess you need a pretty envelope.

This next picture is just so I add in something for Christmas.

Now for your "aw".

This one worked for me even without the words.

Did it work for you?

Okay, that's it. Hope we're all over the hump and heading for the weekend.

This will be my last post until after the holidays so I leave you with my warmest wishes for a

Very Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays
and a
Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

Quote for the Day:

Let there be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.

(Okay, it's a song lyric, but it works. See you next year.)

The minions one is funny! We did need minions during the A to Z Challenge.
Will have to let Father Dragon Al know about the crunchy and good with ketchup.

I could easily change the caption on the first picture to: "What do you mean go to bed? But we have another chapter to read!" My eyes tend to look like that when I can't put a book down and it's approaching midnight.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too, but I'll probably see you this Friday at the Beatnik Cafe! :)

Lexa Cain said...

Those were hilarious! Thanks for the laughs. Wishing you and your family a joyous Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

Jemi Fraser said...

I have the 'let's eat Grandma' one in a poster outside my classroom. I can always tell when someone finally gets it! :)

The aw moment is priceless! Enjoy the holidays - hope they bring you some joy, hope and wonder!

I do need minions and that quote works for me too.

This year I gave in and bought a T-shirt for my son:

"I'm not crazy because I'm a teacher.

"I'm crazy because I like it."

Thanks for the *smiles*. Happy Fun Days back at you.

Alex - The other shirt Al might like said: If you can't stand the heat, don't tickle the dragon.

Stacy - I understand, I'm the same way. And, yes, I'll be there Friday.

Lexa - Thanks, you too.

Jemi - I have that shirt and I get the same thing when people read it. Thanks for the kind wishes.

Susan G/K - Well, heck, don't we all need a few minions.

M.K. - I like that shirt. said...

I love "Find 'x'." If only geometry (or algebra, or trigonometry, or whatever that is) was that easy.

Have a blessed Christmas, LD.

I'm so *not* a cat person, but that one *cracked* me up, 'cos I know a cat would so go there :)

Wishing you and all the Mastersons (except for Tommy in Dublin - but that's another story :) a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year :)

Cats are cunning and know you walk around the house barefoot. (Around our house right now, the theme song is "Tis the season for barfed up tinsel.")

I love all of the grammar stuff out there (on FB, T-shirts, etc.). And that math one was Hilarious.

I love ALL those tee shirts, and would be happy to wear any of them.

Ya know, if more churches told members to bring a blanket and be prepared to sin, more people might show up in the pews on Sunday. HA! Just sayin'...

A very Merry Christmas to you and your.

Gotta admit, the hymn sing sounds fun to me ;)

Every time I see those two 'weed' dogs I laugh.

They could be poster puppies for "Don't do drugs."
