Hump Day Signs of the Times

Happy Hump Day

And - whoops - I'm afraid life tossed a whole bunch of stuff my way last week and by the time I shoveled out from under, Hump Day had come and gone. Sorry I left you to struggle over the mid-week hump without your funnies.

Lately, I've seen a bunch of signs that really tickled my funny bone, so I'm going simple with this post and just sharing them with you.

Of course, we have to start our day with some coffee.

Make that LOTS of coffee.

And I don't want to be disturbed while I'm drinking it.

I think that covers everything.

Now I need to walk the dog.

Um, it sure looks like a walkway.

Let's try the next street.

Well, the name is certainly promising.

Can we find a good spot?

I guess not.

Maybe we'll try the park.

(Sometimes it's not the wording, it's the placement.)

Well, pooh. I guess I'll take the dog home and go buy some food for the cat.

Does this really need to be explained?

Now here's an interesting advertisement.

I think I'd be afraid to go there.
(Think about it.)

But this was my absolute favorite.

Aw, come on - you laughed.

I didn't find any signs that made me say "aw" so I have to go with a picture.
I've given you several babies with pets but how about babies with each other?

Yeah, that's what I said.

And don't forget to check out DL Hammons' blogfest.

I'm doing this one. Should be fun.

Okay, are we there? Over that dreaded mid week hump?
Excellent!
Did you have a favorite?

Have a fantastic weekend (or week or whatever) and I'll see you next Wednesday.

Thought for the Day:

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.

Those were hysterical! You ugly - that one is the best.
Now, don't make us struggle through Wednesday without our funnies again.

I did like that cat milk picture. But really, it SOUNDS like it would come from cats. Stores sell goat milk, right? And that comes from goats. Me thinks they need to change the name of their product. :)

Those babies are super cute! Can't wait for the weekend.

I think I reached several conclusions in the past week. My mind feels blank lately.
Cat milk, who knew?

Julie Dao said...

I laughed at the cat-milk and the wetting my plants! Priceless!

Maria Zannini said...

As a gardener, I'm always wetting my plants. :)

Fortunately, today, Mother Nature is doing that for me. Yay for rain.

Alex - okay, I'll try not to.

Stacy - maybe Milk 4 Cats?

Murees - but I'm so far behind I need more days in my week first.

Susan G/K - yup, lots of conclusions over here, too.

Julie - I'm glad you liked them.

Maria - yay for mother nature!

Aww, now I can make it through the weekend.

Cat milk, seriously?

Those are awesome - the wet my plants one was my fave ... until I got to the babies! :)

Oh, I needed these today. Thanks LD.

We have the logo here too by a hair stylist. If he can't make me look good, I'm ugly. Funny, I never see anyone going there. Guess we're all staying ugly.

My favorite today (it was a hard choice) is the short dog run. Too funny. Smiles.

Glad life has settled down for you. Loved these funnies

I laughed out loud at the first sign! Missed you :)

Those signs were great!!!

I also loved the Thought For The Day... so true:)

I liked all of these, but the one I liked best is the one about the short walk. Reminds me of another one that cracks me up. Shows a long line of dogs waiting to pee on a single tree.

Happy Thursday!

Catmilk doesn't come from cats? Another illusion lost... I loved the signs, especially the "empty the dog" one. I guess you need spring excitement for the dog to wet the plants. ;)

Gwen - My pleasure.

M.K. - You're welcome. Thanks for coming by.

farawayeyes - Seriously. *grin*

Jemi - Well, one was for laughs and the other for aw's.

dolora - Glad you liked them.

Diane - Been there myself.

Robyn - I can't be ugly. My mom said so. *grin*

Cate - For the moment, at least. Thanks.

Carol - Thanks. My number one goal is an lol.

Robin - Yeah, I have a lot of those conclusions.

Susan F.S. - I've seen that picture. Love it.

Lexa - Not my Sophie. We can't take a walk without her stopping to water every plant she sees. Uh oh, would that count as emptying the dog?

The babies are a nice change from the pets.

Incontinent in the nursery

LD Masterson said...

Mike - you know, back in my diaper changing days, I saw a lot of that.

Nicki Elson said...

Hehehe - they must've had enough people asking about the cat milk to creat that sign.

These were all great. Thanks for the chukcles & the awww.
