Kids, Animals, and Idiots - Hump Day Funnies

Happy Hump Day

Life is intruding today so I'm a little late but I wouldn't want to leave you without a few funnies to get you over the hump.

Food for thought.

I've still enjoying this batch of kid jokes I found last week.

When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in.
Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered, "It's no use Grandpa. Now the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights."

This one is also true of working in IT tech support.

Another kid funny. I hope you're enjoying these.
I identified with this one.

My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?"
Mentally polishing my halo, I said, "No, how are we alike?''
"You're both old."

You've got to love this face.

Of course, I'd never forget your "aw".
Here it is.

The expression on the dog's face did me in.

That's it. Hope those did the trick and got you over the mid week (or whenever you see this) hump.
Did you have a favorite?
Any plans for this weekend?

The customer service one is so true.
And the answer to the first one - you grab a camera, of course! It could make millions...

The faces on the dog and cat are priceless!

I love the look on that baby's face--it's perfect.

The camera for sure and mosquitoes with flashlights. Kids are so cutely clever.

That first one is so true! After all camels will probably only slobber all over them :)

The aw moment gets me every time and the joke about the mosquitos and customer service had me laughing really hard. Thank you for making me laugh.

I love that first photo! Makes me laugh every time I see it. Kid is probably thinking, "Thanks, Mom!"

I've seen that camel one and it continually makes me giggle. I had to show it to my son. The dog and kitty picture was indeed an "awww" moment. I'm just captivated that he wasn't trying to get the squeaker out of it.

Oh no, that poor kiddo!

And I can relate to the Customer Service question, however I'd have to admit I probably have been on the other end of it as well. Haha :)

And yep, keep doing what you love until you get paid for it. That makes a lot of sense to me.

Have a great day =-)

Definitely grab the camera. A kid is for how long, a few years? But a picture lasts forever.

Whoa, I'm late getting back here. Sorry. I had to do the Urgent Care thing with my grandson yesterday and it seriously destroyed my plans.

Alex - Well, that's true. You can always rent about kid if you need one.

Carol - Yup, that's what I thought.

Maria - Looks pretty even.

Linda G. - I still see that look on my grandkids' faces. Unfortunately, they're teenagers.

Susan G/K - They call it as they see it.

Jemi - I'm not sure about that. Don't camels have big teeth?

Murees - You're welcome, as always.

Liz - I think the kid is thinking - whoa, this camel's breath smells nasty.

Julie - Ow, that could be painful.

Emilyann - Hey, thank for noticing that quote. I thought it was a good one.

mood - Okay, that's true.

mshatch - Yup, they got me, too.

Sarah - I was in IT. We should swap stories some time.

Heather - Thanks, glad you liked it.

The Twain quote tops them all. Love it, and the one about a stupid question. There are so many.

Have a great weekend, LD.

Awww! That kitty's all tucked in. What a sweet doggie.

Thank you so much for your comment at my place. I'm thrilled to hear that your friend is doing well. I wholeheartedly believe in miracles, and the more of us putting our trust in God & asking for those miracles, the better. :)

Hope your weekend is off to a great start.

I love the things kids come up with sometimes. Honesty is the best policy and sometimes the funniest.

It's Saturday and I've been staying inside all day to keep out of the rain. It's just not natural. I don't mean the staying inside all day part, but the rain in Los Angeles.

Thanks for the laughs. I love that first one, I had seen it before. Even I, a photographer and humor writer, would save the kid before I took the photo.

You must have an Aladdin's cave of these photos :) I especially liked the camel one. And no, I wouldn't take a photo first :)

LD Masterson said...

Robyn - Twain had a way of cutting to the heart of the matter.

Julie - I'm glad no one thought the first pic should have qualified as an aw.

Nicki - I put in an extra prayer for your dad at church this morning. I'll keep them flowing until he's better.

Mason - I'm always glad to have you stop by, no matter when.

Lee - I hope the rain helps with your drought and you avoid the mudslides.

Pk - Absolutely.

Rhonda - That's what I would have done. I think. Well, maybe it would have depended on which of my kids. And how much of a pain he'd been that day.

These are my favorite posts!!!! I'm dying. That first one is my favorite, because it's SO TRUE... I am totally guilty...

LD Masterson said...

Morgan - What? You had occasion to choose between rescuing your child from being eaten by a camel or taking a picture of it. I want to hear that story. Or at least see the picture :-)

Chris - Thanks for coming by. I will be over to visit you.
